OBSTETRICS - NORMAL DELIVERY
It is generally accepted that nowadays, normal delivery is becoming less and less common. Why? Certainly all women have something to say, either because of their own experiences or because of experiences shared by others. However, it will never cease to be ideal for every woman. The rates of our clinics concering normal deliveries are 75%. Caesarean sections (25%) take place late in the afternoon, when all possibilities for normal delivery have been exhausted. Each and every woman is now aware of the fact that the key to normal delivery, apart from the experience and willingness of the obstetrician, is unlimited patience and endless time and effort, as well as love for what is natural and effortless.

GYNAECOLOGICAL SURGERY
An early and accurate diagnosis of the gynaecological problem through an advanced transvaginal untrasound scan is the first important step. Surgical laparoscopy, hysteroscopy or open surgery is performed, depending on the indications. In both cases, however, we are aiming at the shortest hospitalization time possible. In open surgeries we always recommend epidural anaesthesia, for better post-operative analgaesia and shorter hospitalization time (usually three days of hospitalization with two nights) in the maternity clinic. All these also apply to total vaginal hysterectomy, where the results are outstanding.

H.P.V
The presence of HPV in the cervix can affect up to 70% of women, regardless of age and marital status. Therefore, this is a very common problem that can be due to weak body defense, excessive smoking and unprotected sex. There are three major myths regarding HPV: 1) that it is entirely sexually transmitted 2) that it definitely leads to cervical cancer, and 3) that the woman will be a lifelong carrier of the virus. After 20 years of experience, we can safely and effectively treat this common Human Papilloma Virus: colposcopy, biopsy, standardization of HPV strains, condylomata accuminata cauterization.

MISCARRIAGES - RECURRENT MISCARRIAGES

CERVICAL INSUFFICIENCY IN
PREGNANCY

MATERNAL-FETAL MEDICINE
Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound, B-level Ultrasound and Doppler are carried out in our clinic by a doctor specialized in maternal-fetal medicine. Counseling is provided and invasive methods are performed where a problem is dagnosed.
PERIMENOPAUSE-MENOPAUSE
A good ultrasound, at the appropriate stage of the cycle, can very often lead to a completely different diagnosis from that made after hormone tests. Therefore, no easy conclusions need to be drawn.
